9:38 am	Sky <(sky)> = O For those of you that aren't too familiar with it, sky (a.k.a. Tu'lia) is a region accessible only by doing Zilart missions post-rank 6. I hadn't even HEARD of sky til I was level 60-61, and to be honest I didn't know it was an actual place you could go to just like that. Putting the description of the process behind a cut; no plot spoilers revealed. It's also Rena's birthday today. :) She was born on Easter after all, last year, an auspicious day to create a WHM as I believe I said at the time. 12:35 pm	Stolen... ... from the newlywed EC. Congrats, BTW! The first sentence of the first entry of each month for 2004. January: None, since I didn't have an LJ back then. February: Since my Diaryland thing was kinda dead, I decided to make the move over here with Kim-chan. March: I'm back! It feels for some reason like it was forever, rather than just two days, that I was gone. ^_^;; April: Time for my report on the Middle Tennessee Anime Convention, which went quite well for me. ;-) May: Rena got 25 tonight and is now more levelled than Tae.... June: Not going so well. July: I'm going through a period of striking ambivalence in my life. August: So today was the first day of Otakon: The Convention of Otaku Generation, 11th annual. September: My forehead rested against the protocrystal, hair slick with sweat plastered against my skull. October: Isn't that a pleasant mental image. 2:15 pm	Fucking noobs. So I'm levelling Toru's RDM in Qufim, and then all of a sudden, Trickster Kinetix (I think that's how you spell it), a Weapon Notorious Monster, pops right by our camp. So at the urging of my party, I switch to Rena to kill it. Run her down to Qufim. Holy it. Am pulling it back so it won't link.... and it suddenly gets stolen by a RDM in full AF. Not really sure how this was possible, since I USED HOLY ON IT, but whatever. I slapped the guy a few times, sent him a /tell saying I didn't appreciate him mob-stealing, then switched back. While I was doing all this.... the party replaced me with a WHM. I couldn't believe it. Not only was I the main healer before, which a RDM shouldn't have to be, but I was doing a damn good job of it. Nobody died, I never pulled hate. They REPLACED me for no fucking reason after they fucking made me go take on that NM. Fucking noobs. I hate Qufim. Current Mood: angry (7 Comments |Comment on this)

9:34 pm	Christmas Meme! I stole this from cairnsy, and I think it's a great idea. Step One - Make a post (public, friends locked, filtered...whatever you're comfortable with) to your LJ. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fandom-related ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") 1:52 am	I totally admit to throwing this one. The final book of Narnia, you're a sometimes disturbing story about the end of the world and the beginning of a new one. Your characters include an evil monkey, a misguided donkey, stubborn dwarves and all the human characters from the previous books. You manage to be heartbreaking and beautiful at once. 5:35 am	Gravitation review! Ah, I'd forgotten the pleasureable, heady buzz that comes from watching gewd anime for hours. ^^ I watched the third Onegai Teacher and the first Gravitation DVD today. (My mom bought them for me for my b-day, as well as the Star Wars trilogy DVDs. Isn't my family great?) Onegai Teacher: Always nice. A good, romantic anime, a bit overdramatic in places, but still very good I think. My issue with this one was it ended at a REALLY bad place and now I need to see the last one! (And it's the last one.... ;_;) JT is going to kill Kei though. (spoiler alert) I'm not real big on people who dump other people just to make other people happy, but then I realized that this is a tad hypocritical of me.... because Rena did it like three times. A mistake that I'm hoping to rectify. I think it comes out of a sense that "I am the guardian of my friends' happiness!" that kind of arrogance.... As for Gravitation! MARYA! Why didn't you tell me one of my all-time favorite seiyuu, the sexy-voiced Inoue Kazuhiko, did the voice for the EXTREMELY hot, EXTREMELY snarky, and blessed with the EVIL EYES OF DOOM Yuki Eiri?!!!!!!1one I'm a total fangirl for him. He is not only teh hawt (OH so hot), but he's SNARKY! And has pissed-off eyes! So far, all he's done is bitch, and make the other kid his uke! I love it!! Gravitation also has a somewhat different style, more of an arty feel--to be honest, it has Marya's taste written all over it. But she has gewd taste! I'm happy!! Now the only dilemma is, to buy the last Onegai Teacher and finish that one out first, or continue my war with Patrick over me getting the next Gravitation (he doesn't approve, bwahahahaha!)? 1:04 pm	Mom's Here! Whee! I stayed up like 36 hours the last two days! ^^ But I got a lot done, heh. Patrick and I went down to Nashville to pick up my mom from the airport and do some shopping/walking around at Opry Mills. Then we all went out to dinner at Ruth's Chris. (For some reason, the steak wasn't all that gewd.... I was kind of disappointed, but my extreme exhaustion may have had something to do with it.) We listened to the Yankees destroy the Twins on the radio on the way back, then I convinced myself I was awake enough to RP with JT for one hour only last night, which I faithfully adhered to. Then TJ, JT, and Kim decided that they wanted to meet in-game..... And then Droogz was on (and only for him or Yoohan would I have stayed up longer) and needed help with his artifact armor in Garlaige Citadel.... So I didn't get to bed until 4:30 a.m. ;_; I slept til about 2:30 p.m. though. Heh. Tonight, we're going shopping again with my mom, then we're headed to Patti's 1880s Settlement, the nicest restaraunt for miles around here. It's a "historically-themed" restaraunt too, which should make my mom happy. Hopefully I'll get a better steak there than I got at Ruth's Chris last night, though their specialty are 2-inch thick pork chops. (Which aren't bad, only I hate pork. Ewwww.) It's not healthy to internalize everything and conceal it. 11:22 pm	Gewd stuff. Took JT back to St. Louis today. (Wow, look, a serious post from me for once!) Apparently I just dropped him out of the frying pan and into the fire..... ;_; JT is such a good friend, we've known each other for so long, 7 years or more now, since I was in high school. He's been there for me through so much shit, it's not even funny. Now I want to be there for him, to support him however I can, to try and make his situation more bearable. But what the hell can I possibly do? I have no idea. I really don't. I thought stealing him away for a weekend of anime and RP and FFXI would help, but instead, it's just seemed to cause more problems. As for me.... my life isn't in the state I want it to be. Patrick is withdrawn into his Cancerian shell. Practically everyone in my life from Droogz to Vish through JT and Kim is upset or depressed about something. It seems like this is a dark time. I've gotten too used to him being here, distracting me while I post, all of his many, many friends IMing him and Skypeing him and stuff, hugging on me and watching anime with me..... It's going to be hard to let him go back to St. Louis and not be able to see him or hang out with him or touch him anymore.
